Well, what can we possibly say about Ibiza as a clubbing destination that hasn't already been said? For many it is quite simply THE NO.1 clubbing holiday in the world. Ibiza is a must visit if you are looking for a serious clubbing holiday, with world famous super-clubs like Es Paradis, Privelege, Eden, Space, Pacha & Amnesia all attracting world-renowned DJ's and large party crowds night after night throughout the summer season.
Whether your taste in music is pure House, Electronica, Hip Hop, RnB, Trance, UKG, Breaks & Beats, Ambient, Happy Hard-Core and more recently Rock & Indie, one of the many clubs in Ibiza will have something to offer you.
San Antonio Town is the liveliest resort on the island of Ibiza and buzzes with activity non-stop from June to September. There's a small beach on the edge of town and plenty more can be reached by water taxi or ferry. Watersports, go-karts and the legendary Sunset Strip ensure the days of your clubbing holiday are just as action packed as the nights!
San Antonio Town is the ultimate clubbing destination where the action starts as soon the sun goes down in the legendary Chill out bar Café Del Mar, before moving on to “The West End” were you will find the highest density of clubs and bars you will find in Ibiza. Ibiza will always be seen as one of the best clubbing holiday destinations (if not THE best!) for party people clubbing abroad.

Clubbing in Ibiza
Privilege
Privilege is known as the worlds biggest club and a must-see whilst on your clubbing holiday in Ibiza. Once an open-air venue the roof was added at the start of the 90's and the club reopened as Privilege. Privilege in Ibiza hosts a range of nights from different musical genres throughout the summer season but in recent years has been defined by the iconic Manumission night- perhaps the most famous party on the island, and arguably the world. However, following a dispute over an unpaid fine from the 2006 season for an overrun party Privilege showed Manumission the door mid 2007, and it is now hosted by Amnesia.
Privilege is a true Ibiza experience and one of the most unique clubbing venues in the world. It is the world's largest nightclub - it takes your breath away when you enter the venue. The 25 metres-high ceiling allows to present spectacular shows and gives enough space to house a huge pool inside. It's situated between Ibiza Town and San Antonio and the large windows offer gorgeous views over the island.
Privilege hosts a range of regular nights and one off special events throughout the season including: Tiesto at Privilege, Meganite, Monza, Supermartxe and Xtravaganza.
Amnesia
Amnesia is one of Ibiza’s most famous and well-loved clubs. If you are a dance lover on a clubbing holiday in Ibiza then Amnesia is a must visit. This Ibiza super-club has a particularly strong following among trance fans.
The biggest and best night at Amnesia is Cream which is held every thursday during the season with resident Paul Van Dyke with Marco V, with Eddie Halliwell and Ferry Corsten regular guests, making it possibly the biggest and best trance night in the world.
Amnesia consists of two huge rooms - the sala principal which is usually considered the 'main room' and the 'back room' which is equally impressive. If you’re on a clubbing holiday in Ibiza, Amnesia is a must do club, even if the often extreme clubbing of the main room isn't really your scene, there's plenty of other places to cool down and chill out in the more spacious terrace or VIP bars. Cheap Clubbing Holidays staff recommend you plan at least one Amnesia night while you’re on your clubbing holiday in Ibiza.
Pacha
Pacha is pure class on a massive scale, there are stacks of different areas playing predominantly house with a real Balearic flavour and you're likely to find a few musical surprises as well. For clubbing holiday-makers Pacha's big night is Pure Pacha every Friday of the summer which gets some great guest Dj's and live acts in the back room. The outdoor terrace looks out onto the front of the club while down below the usually rammed dance floor sprawls over multiple levels running under the DJ booth.
Pacha is highly recommended as a night of clubbing you can only get in Ibiza - the buzz and class of Pacha Ibiza is never transcended into the numerous other 'Pacha' clubs you find across the world. If you only take one decent shirt with you on your clubbing holiday to Ibiza, Pacha may be the place to wear it to have you keep up appearances with the locals! There's little or no attitude most of the time however and tourists and locals play nice together as their co-existence in the busy summer months is well established.
To come on a clubbing holiday to Ibiza and not visit Pacha is like going to Paris and not seeing the Eiffel Tower. Without Pacha and the personality that it imposed on the island's nightlife in the 70's, it would be difficult to imagine the vitality of todays nightlife, which attracts visitors from all over the world.
In recent years Pacha to most clubbing tourists meant Pure Pacha on Friday nights with Pete Tong. Since Tong moved to Eden, Pure Pacha continued and the lineup through the rest of the week has become if anything, stronger. Roger Sanchez's ‘release yourself' night, Defected, Subliminal, David Guetta's ‘F*ck me I'm Famous' (in 2008) and Def Mix. In fact in the height of the season its fair to say Pacha has the best back to back line-up of any Ibiza club, open 7 day a week, always with big names behind the decks. A visit to Pacha is a key ingredient of any clubbing holiday in Ibiza.
Space
Possibly the most famous club in the world, Space in Ibiza a converted concert hall with an open air terrace which sets the scene for the We love Space all day all night parties every Sunday of the season in Ibiza in 2008. Something of an institution among Ibiza veterans, Space and especially the day/ night parties are the stuff of Ibiza legend. As new Ibiza arrivals flood in over the islands flight path they are greeted by a sea of waving hands from the Space terrace.
Space has won numerous prestigious awards- enough to claim itself as the world’s best club. In 2005 both the house Music Awards and Winter Music Conference named space their ‘Best club in the world’. Space opens each morning at 8am to welcome the survivors of the night before with the opportunity to keep partying. Known for its Balearic house but now offering the same variety as most of the big Ibiza clubs Space always lines up some great names behind the decks. Can’t be missed for Ibiza virgins or veterans.
Es Paradis
The Roman decor of Es Paradis in Ibiza's San Antonio district make it a decadent venue for a host of nights throughout the week in the Ibiza calendar. Es Paradis also hosts the famous Fiesta Del Aqua water parties where the clubs dancefloor gets transformed into a swimming pool!
Es Paradis is located right on San Antonio waterfront, right in the thick of the San An' action but despite being a notorious haven for 'Brits abroad' Es Paradis is lavish and quite spectacular inside, themed on a Roman palace, with towering pillars, podiums and spiral staircases. Es Paradis is one of the oldest clubs in Ibiza- today probably its most renound night- certainly amoung Ibiza holidaymakers is the infamous water part 'Fiesta Del Aqua' which takes place every Saturday night in the summer.
Musically Es Paradis is hard to classify- you can hear the Tidy Boys at tidy Ibiza on a Tuesday in Es Paradis playing the hardest of hard house then catch DJ Sammy if you go back on the Wednesday! 'Pukka up' on Mondays starts off as a boat party out of San Antonio at sunset before moving to Es Paradis for the evening session playing funky house and classics. this is typical of the club which has never attracted the big nights but gets by providing a uniquely easy going Ibiza clubbing experience in a great location to attract the masses.
Eden
Right in the heart of the San Antonio waterfront and right next door to its big rival Es Paradis Eden has been around in its present form since 2000. What Eden lacks in history it makes up for with big name nights and a healthy cohort of clubbers of all sorts throughout the week. Judge Jules' Judgement Sundays take place, as you might expect, every Sunday of the season which is a guarenteed packed out night of trance mayhem. Radio 1's Pete Tong holds his weekly Wonderland party friday nights at Eden which should prove one of the most popular residencies on the island.
The location really makes Eden being just (one almighty) stones throw from San Antonio's main strip of cheap and nasty bars, the ideal place to get in the mood before hitting the more expensive bar at Eden. The club is good also, accomodating around the 5000 mark and getting pretty close to that most Sundays although it rarely feels as jammed as some of the bigger nights in Amnesia or Pacha.
Many purists might say Eden is not a true Ibiza club and British guests may feel more like they're in a slighlty lavish London or Manchester club at times, but don't let that discourage you, there's a great night to be had at Eden if you hit the right night (Sunday) or during the week you're likely to get cheaper or even free entry which you won't find heading out of town.
